Unfortunately, the walk to Croston had to be changed at the last minute due to the Hotel we were going to have our meal at ceasing to trade.
However we managed to make alternative arrangements and 30! members, friends and prospective new members walked approximately 4 miles from Rufford to Mawdesley where we had a meal at the Black Bull. It was a very nice day with plenty of sunshine and not to muddy under foot.
After the meal most people caught the bus from Mawdesley back to Ormskirk and then the train back into Liverpool. A small group walked back to Rufford to go home by car.
Many thanks to the staff at the Black Bull for providing excellent food and service.
